About Telling and Measuring Time

WAL about Telling and Measuring time.
I was learning to tell 24 hour time and 12 hour time
I was able to tell 12 hour time because I all ready knew 12 hour time
My next step is to learn more about 24 hour time before I do it.

The Haunted House

Reflection

I am learning  to use the DASH? paragraph.
I can write a sentence using of all of the letters in DASH?.
I found it easy because we did a class plan.
My next step is to figure out what to write before I write it. 

Nobody Laughed

Reflection

I am learning to actively seek to extend my knowledge of new vocabulary.

• I was able to write the diction and definition because I searched it up.
• It was found it easy because I read about it. 

My next step is to search for more better information.

Why Home Work Should Be Banned

I am learning to write a speech about why home work should be banned.
I was able to write this because I knew what to write.
I found it easy because I do not like homework.
My next step is to write about something else that I know about.

 

Finding a Unit Fraction of a Set

I am learning to use fraction in groups.
I was able to use the dots to to put them in the groups to do the active.
I found it easy because I know how to use groups with counters and other equipment.
My next step is to use my times tables.

Pest Free Classroom

Reflection

we are learning how the make a pest free poster and how to make our classroom a pest free class.
I was able write all the things about a pest free classroom and i already knew about how to make your classroom. I found it easy because I already knew a lot about pest classroom.
  I know I need to change the way i worked because I was talking to much and that made me work slowly.

Summerising a fiction text

• I am learning about WALT summarise a fiction text 

• I can understand a text as I read it, gather information on the plot, character, theme, tone, style and narrator. 
• I found it easy to do the characters, setting, problem and solution. 
  It was hard to write the paragraph.
  I can justify and explain the main idea with examples from the text to support my thinking.

Use the Scale on a Ruler

I am learning to measure properly.
I was able to measure in centimeters.
I found it easy because I know how to measure in centimertre.
My next step is to use a ruler to measure different objects.

WORM TEA POSTER

I am learning to make poster for school to sell worm tea.
I was able to make the poster because the teacher kind of did all of it.
I found it easy because the teacher did lots of the poster
My next step is to finish faster.

Parts of Speech

I am learning to about Nouns.
I was able to ask for help when i got stuck.
I found it hard because I didn't know what nouns were before this.
My next step is to research more about Nouns.

Volcano Information Report

I was learning to write a Information Report about volcanoes.
We were able to write a strusher of a paragraph. IT was easy because I all ready new lots about volcanoes.
My next step is to give more details to the paragraph.

Should We Have Animals At Wars?

Reflection:
I am learning about ANZAC and why we should or shouldn't have animals in wars.
I was able to understand why we should  have animals at war.
I found it hard to understand what pros and cons mean.
My next step is to answer more questions.

I was able to read the paragraph and find the details.
I found this easy because I read the paragraph.
My next step is to get better at understanding the paragraph.

All About Me

I found it easy because I just had to write a me.
I was able to write all about me writing because it is about me.
I found it easy to write lots of ideas about me.
my next step is to make shore I check my spelling

Welcome to my learning blog for year 5 in 2019. This year I am in Room 25. My teacher is Miss D'Souza. I enjoy playing rugby league and the PS4. I am going to try do beater at writing. I hope you enjoy my blog and leave some feedback for me.
